Coach crashes into tunnel in central China after passenger takes hold of steering wheel

A surveillance camera has captured the dramatic moment a Chinese man suddenly grabbed hold of a coach's steering wheel, causing the vehicle to crash into the side of a tunnel in the city of Changsha in central Hunan Province.
The video of the incident, which took place earlier this week, shows the man approaching the driver and without warning grabbing the wheel.
The coach driver immediately lost control of the vehicle and failed to prevent it from crashing into a tunnel wall.
The accident caused passengers to fall out of their seats and their belongings to fall off their overhead compartments.
According to local media, the man is a drug user who struck a ticket seller after the crash with the coach's emergency hammer.
Passengers eventually got hold of the man, who was arrested, local media said.
The ticket seller is being treated in hospital, according to reports.
