The 24th edition of the Volvo China Open will take place at the Beijing Huairou Topwin Golf and country club from the 26th of April to the 29th. Players from the European and Asian tours will descend on China's capital for the event which has a purse of 20 million RMB.
The tournament will boast a line up full of talent with defending champion Alex Levy of France, six-time European Tour winner Joost Luiten from the Netherlands and Austrian four-time winner Bernd Wiesberger taking part. Being co-sanctioned by Asian Tour, there will be a strong contingent from the continent which includes Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who won the 2015 Shenzhen Open, and current European Tour Race to Dubai number one, Shubhankar Sharma of India. World Number 38 Li Haotong and 2015 Volvo China Open winner Wu Ashun will aim for victory on the home tuft course which is located near the Great Wall.
