China's Political Season: Leaders around the world congratulate Xi Jinping on election

On Saturday, Xi Jinping was elected president of the People's Republic of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission. Leaders from around the world have sent their congratulations.
Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un said he hopes the Chinese people will continue to make great achievements in building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. He said he believes bilateral ties will develop to benefit the two peoples.
Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, extended his warmest congratulations to President Xi. He said he firmly believes under Xi's leadership, China will achieve greater achievements and continue to play a key role in international and regional affairs.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that Xi's great achievements have won full trust of the Chinese people, and China will become a strong, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist modernized country.

The current rotating chairman of the African Union, Rwanda's President Paul Kagame said that China has achieved remarkable achievements under President Xi's leadership.
Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro said that under the guidance of Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, China will surely become a great socialist country in the 21st century.
