IMF revises global growth forecasts for 2018, 2019 to 3.9%

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday revised global growth forecasts for 2018 and 2019 upward by 0.2 percentage points to 3.9 percent, reflecting increased global growth momentum.
The global growth for 2017 is now estimated at 3.7 percent and the stronger momentum experienced in 2017 is expected to carry into 2018 and 2019, the IMF said in its World Economic Outlook update released on Monday.
