The regular meeting saw 21 cooperative agreements in 2016, and over 30 in 2015. Agreements this year are expected to be related to energy, agriculture and space technologies. A joint communique will also be signed.
Before the ceremony, they met on Tuesday for a talk, agreeing to closer cooperation and stronger ties. Medvedev is the first foreign leader to visit China after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Li said this shows the closeness and high level of China-Russia ties.
