Stray donkeys on the street in the Ceará State, northeastern part of Brazil, pose a huge threat to road safety. Local police "arrest" more than 2,500 donkeys in a month, and since the donkey arrest campaign began five years ago, donkey-related accidents have been reduced by 34 percent.
