More than one-and-a-half million people have been affected by heavy downpours and floods in southern China, which started on Saturday.
Swollen rivers are threatening Chongqing Municipality, the provinces of Guizhou, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, and Sichuan, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with mountain torrents, landslides and urban floods. More than 70-thousand people have been relocated. CGTN's Li Jianhua visited one of the worst-hit villages in Hengyang, Hunan province and told us about the situation there.
