One person has been killed and two others arrested following a street gunfight in Taiwan.
Local police stopped a white vehicle early Tuesday morning in southern Taiwan's Kaohsiung city. The three people in the vehicle, all with drug offense records, refused to cooperate, with one of them pulling out a gun. Police cornered the vehicle to the road side and opened fire after a roughly ten-minute stand-off. One suspect did not survive and the two others were taken into custody. Police found two submachine guns, four pistols and a grenade on the vehicle. The case is still under investigation.
