South Korea says it wants high-level talks with the DPRK later this month to prepare for the inter-Korean summit in April. President Moon Jae-in's office called that upcoming meeting a possible turning point. The gathering will discuss how to denuclearize the Peninsula, dramatically defuse military tensions and build a permanent peace.
Meanwhile, South Korean's presidential spokesman says that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also wants to hold talks with the DPRK after summits with South Korea and the United States.
