Chinese national missing in Hokkaido, Japan

A female Chinese national went missing on Saturday while traveling alone in Hokkaido, the northernmost prefecture of Japan, CCTV reported citing officials from China's consulate-general in Sapporo.
The missing woman's father called the consulate-general for assistance after losing contact with his daughter.
The consulate-general launched an emergency mechanism and ordered local police to conduct a search and rescue operation.
