Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met with Kim Yong Nam, the President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Sunday in Tehran, Iranian media IRNA reported.

Rouhani noted that Iran hopes the DPRK and South Korea would resolve their differences through dialogue and negotiations.

The DPRK will promote ties with Iran in all fields, including economy, sciences and technology, Kim said.
