The hit song "Despacito" has become the most viewed clip on YouTube ever, surpassing more than 3 billion views.
YouTube announced Friday that Luis Fonsi’s ubiquitous song with Daddy Yankee has surpassed previous record holder “See You Again,” the song by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth from the “Furious 7" soundtrack.
The video is also the most “liked” on YouTube.
The achievement adds another title to the list of records set by the Spanish-language song.

"Despacito", which means "slowly" in Spanish, is already the most streamed song of all time, reaching around five billion streams across platforms.
It is also the first Spanish-language song to reach the top spot since "Macarena" in 1996.
"Despacito" – a racy track full of sexual innuendo which features Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee – went viral soon after its release in January and reached an even wider audience in April when pop star Justin Bieber appeared on a remix.
