Saturday is World Health Day and also the 70th anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization. It's celebrating with a campaign for Universal Health Coverage or quality healthcare at an affordable cost for people everywhere.
But on the global stage, it's a huge challenge. Today, 800 million people are forced to spend at least 10% of their budget on health needs alone and that's helping to drive 100 million into extreme poverty.
James Chau is in Manila to speak with Dr. Shin Young-soo, health chief for 37 countries in the Western Pacific region.
