Suspicious packages sent to military bases in DC area, US

Several suspicious packages were sent to at least two military bases in the Washington, DC area on Monday morning, with one confirmed to contain explosive material, according to local media.
The FBI has confirmed that they responded to multiple DC military installations on Monday after they got reports about those suspicious packages.
The one package with explosive contents was sent to the National Defense University at Fort McNair at around 8:30 a.m. local time, and was ultimately rendered safe, CNN reported citing army spokesman Michael L. Howard.
No injuries are reported so far.
