CBA: Liaoning keeps straight wins by defeating Tianjin

Liaoning Roster maintained their straight wins defeating Tianjin Gold Lions 115-104 in the ninth round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Thursday.
The host, Tianjin Gold Lions, who now ranks last among the last four teams, only won two games in the last eight matches. The Liaoning Flying Leopards currently ranks second.

Liaoning’s players made a 9-4 lead, but they did not defend well, finishing the first quarter with a weak advantage 25-24. The host made few mistakes in the second quarter and Liaoning’s Guo Ailun and Lester Hudson enhanced the advantage to 50-47.
The host tried to put up a battle to get back into the game after the break and tied the score 57-57. Tianjin was able to catch up in the fourth after two successive three-points. But the visitors managed their grip on the game as Hudson's three-point shot helped Liaoning enlarge the gap and finally seal their victory,115-104.

Lester Hudson's total score reached 8,037 after the match. The American is the only foreigner in the Top 10 of CBA’s total scoring.
