"Do you think all Chinese girls look the same?" Starting out as a teenage model, Bonnie Chen struggled to find her true self, and as a result suffered emotionally. Only years later did she learn to see real beauty under the heavy make-up.
"My understanding of beauty is to be real, be fair and to create something positive."
This is the message she wants to share with a young generation hooked on appearances.
