China welcomes the friendly cooperation and interaction between South Korea and the DPRK. That's according to the Foreign Ministry at a routine press conference.

GENG SHUANG SPOKESPERSON, CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY "The DPRK and ROK have carried out a series of active interaction and friendly cooperation during the PyeongChang Winter Games. As the neighbor of the two countries, China welcomes and supports this. We hope all parties refrain from taking actions that stimulate each other and intensify conflicts, maintain the stability of the situation on the peninsula, and create an atmosphere for dialogue and negotiation. We hope that the DPRK and the US can seize the opportunity, and the international community can work together to encourage this."
