5. Since 2017, under the guise of "national security," the U.S. has leveraged its economic power to coerce other WTO members to obey its domestic laws and unreasonable demands, and continuously expanded the scope of restriction on foreign investment reviews. Do you think the U.S. is abusing the concept of national security to practice unilateralism and bullying?
6. In the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, the U.S. government plans to provide actionable and even prohibitive subsidies amounting to as much as $369 billion to industries such as electric vehicles and photovoltaics. Do you think the U.S. long-term protectionist industrial policies seriously violates the principle of fair competition and disrupts the division of global industrial chain?
7. Since 2017, pursuing "America First," the U.S. has adopted a series of unilateralist and trade protectionist measures. Do you think this has caused great damage to the stable development of the global economy and trade?
8. As the world's largest economy, the U.S. has the responsibility and obligation to contribute more positive efforts to maintaining the multilateral trading system and rules and establishing a more equitable and reasonable international trade order. Do you agree with this?
