Cathay Pacific on Saturday announced that a pilot charged with rioting in Hong Kong was removed from flying duties.

This came after China's civil aviation authorities issued a warning of major aviation safety risks to the Hong Kong-based airline.

Another two ground staff were also sacked for inappropriate behaviors after revealing passengers' information.
