A total of 5,000 paraders in the final formation have marched with a huge basket in a mass parade on Tuesday at Tian'anmen Square to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The parade concluded as people released 70,000 pigeons and balloons respectively to extend their best wishes for the motherland.
