HK Police: Radical protesters commit destructive acts

Radical protesters have committed destructive acts extensively across Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, and the New Territories in Hong Kong on Friday, said the police.

The protesters set fires, smashed up glass panels of shops and vandalized facilities at several Mass Transit Railway (MTR) stations.

Earlier, a large group of protesters occupied several major roads, paralyzing the traffic. Some of them also set fire to a national flag, according to the police.

The police have warned the protesters to leave and stop their illegal acts immediately.
