Angry over Brexit, thousands protest

The campaign group known as "Led By Donkeys" plowed an anti-Brexit message into a 25,000-square-meter field in the English countryside on October 16. The message "BRITAIN NOW WANTS TO REMAIN" was carved by a tractor into a field with letters reaching 40 meters long. Three days later after the field display, thousands of Brexit opponents gathered in central London calling for Britain to remain part of the European Union. The crowds planned to converge on Parliament Square as legislators voted on Brexit departure plans put forth by Conservative British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
