Indian blanket: A symbol of Native American heritage in Oklahoma
CGTN

Indian blanket, the shiny yellow flower with red center, is the official state wildflower of Oklahoma in the United States. The flower can tolerate Oklahoma's hot and dry weather conditions, and is considered a symbol of its natural beauty and Native American heritage.

The plant, with its flame-like colors, is also called firewheel and sundance. They are hardy and can thrive in drought. From summer to late fall, you can see these lovely flowers growing along the roads and form a beautiful carpet of flowers.
