Renowned for the vibrant coastal city of Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province boasts unique tourist attractions. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet with fewer crowds, then Zhuquan Village might be the best choice.

Zhu literally means "bamboo" and quan means "spring" in Chinese. The fine combination of bamboo and spring well explains the major characteristic of the village.

With a history of over 400 years, Zhuquan is home to a limpid spring that is surrounded by lush bamboo trees. The spring water has a steady temperature all year round and is rich in minerals good for the human body.

In Chinese culture, bamboo always has a deeper meaning that goes beyond the plant itself. The tall, straight stem symbolizes honor with the hollow interior representing modesty. It reflects people's souls, emotions, and the harmony between humans and nature. That's why bamboo is an indispensable element in Chinese literature.
