Police in Beijing on Monday transferred a doctor murder case to a local procuratorate for examination before prosecution, said the Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate.
It came after local police concluded their probe into the case.
The suspect, named Sun Wenbin, was arrested on Friday for murdering Yang Wen, a doctor with the General Hospital of the CAAC.

Police received a report of the incident around 6 a.m. last Tuesday, and detained the suspect at the scene. Prosecutors approved the arrest of the suspect on attempted murder charges last Friday.
China's Medical Doctor Association and Beijing Municipal Health Commission have both condemned the attack, denouncing it as an "extreme act."
