Eight pneumonia patients cured in C China's Wuhan

Eight pneumonia patients hospitalized in central China's Wuhan City have been cured and left the hospital, local health commission said on Wednesday.  

During the recent pneumonia outbreak of unknown etiology in the city, a total of 59 cases have been confirmed. The root cause of the outbreak is still under investigation, but SARS, MERS and bird flu have all been ruled out. 

The eight patients have all been treated in Jinyintan Hospital in Wuhan, and their symptoms of pneumonia like fever have gone for several days. The medical experts conclude their recovery and nod their discharge from the hospital.
