Luo Huining, the new director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), met HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam on Thursday. Both sides exchanged views on the current social situation in HKSAR and their performance of duties in accordance with the law.
Luo said the liaison office will fully respect and support Carrie Lam and the HKSAR government in governing the region in accordance with the law.
