From July to March, the crested ibis is idle. During this period, they tend to live in groups in the woodland dormitory. For eight or nine months, they stay here together, going out hunting in the morning and returning in the evening. With lesser ibises in the wood, the collective life gives way to the breeding season ahead and the stories of each loving family unfold.
