"There are more than two months to prepare for the World Championships after the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Hong Kong. We hope to make a breakthrough in this event and we have met expectations," said Zhong.

Chinese Cycling Association Chairman Shen Jinkang pointed out that the team should work harder to improve their physical strength. "Our team haven't done enough in that. We will improve it because there are five months left before the Olympic Games. I think we'll then achieve better results."
