The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India rose to 1,071 on March 30. Irshad is an employee at Rajghat Depot 2 in Delhi. He sprays disinfectant on taxis and rickshaws everyday so as to stop any viral transmission, as he believes if an infected person gets on the vehicle then they will transmit this virus to others.

He uses gloves, a mask and a helmet when spraying the vehicles down with disinfectant. He starts work at 7 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m. Both Irshad and his mother are proud of his work and people give him plenty of encouragement. "That's why we're doing this," Irshad says.
