Senior Chinese official Yang Jiechi will visit Myanmar, Spain and Greece from September 1 to 4, China's Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will make the official visits at the invitation of the three countries' governments, foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said in Beijing.
It's the former foreign minister's second overseas visit within a month. He visited China's neighbors Singapore and South Korea from August 19-22.
In the meantime, Chinese State Council and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is currently on a five-state visit in Europe, with trade and COVID-19 on his agenda.
