Bird's-eye view of Shangri-la: The massive construction of nature

Those who have seen Baishuitai, or the White Water Terraces, are stunned by its landscape and blue water. It is located in Baidi Village, Shangri-La County, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The accumulation of tufa over the years has given the site its unique shape, and the minerals have bestowed its water with an icy blue hue.
