Gaoligong Mountains are a mountain range located in western Yunnan, southwest China. It is a crucial part of the three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Intricate landforms and climates, together with a forest coverage of 85 percent, make Gaoligong Mountains one of the few places on the planet with outstanding biodiversity.
