Get well messages for U.S. President Donald Trump poured in from foreign capitals on Friday after he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus.
British Prime Minster Boris Johnson said on Saturday he has no doubt Trump will make a very strong recovery from COVID-19.
Johnson, who himself was hospitalized with the coronavirus in April, was speaking to reporters ahead of a call about Brexit with the European Union later on Saturday.
"I've no doubt that he will, he'll make a very strong recovery," said Johnson. "He's a naturally obviously very resilient character and I'm sure he'll come through it very well."

The head of the World Health Organization, a body repeatedly attacked by Trump for its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, on Friday sent his best wishes to Trump and his wife Melania.
"My best wishes to President @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS for a full and speedy recovery," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a tweet.
The United States, formerly top donor of the Geneva-based body, has said it plans to withdraw and cut off funding, claiming that the WHO is too close to China.

Russian President Vladimir Putin wished Trump a speedy recovery in a telegram on Friday, saying he was sure the U.S. leader's qualities will help him fight off the coronavirus.
"I am convinced that your vitality, good spirits and optimism will help you cope with this dangerous virus," the Kremlin quoted Putin as saying in the message.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel sent Trump and his wife best wishes for a speedy recovery from a coronavirus infection, her spokesman said on Twitter.
"I hope that they recover well from their coronavirus infection and are soon completely healthy again," he quoted her as saying.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) state Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) Saturday reported that DPRK leader Kim Jong Un also sent a message of sympathy to President Donald Trump, wishing him well and hoping he recovers quickly.
"He sincerely hoped that they would be recovered as soon as possible," KCNA said. "He hoped they will surely overcome it."
Former U.S. presidents like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama also extended their good wishes to Trump in through Twitter messages.
Clinton also expressed "hope for the safety of the White House staff, the Secret Service, and others putting their lives on the line."

Obama tweeted that "Michelle and I hope that the President, First Lady, and all those affected by the coronavirus around the country are getting the care they need and are on the path to a speedy recovery."

"COVID-19 is a battle we all continue to fight. Everyday. No matter where we live," European Council President Charles Michel said in a tweet, wishing America's first couple a speedy recovery.
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, South Korean President Moon Jae-in, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also wished Trump a quick recovery from COVID-19.
