Trump's hospitalized with COVID-19. What next?

Even though it's only the beginning of October, the biggest surprise of the month most likely came early. U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted after midnight local time on October 2 that he and the first lady tested positive for COVID-19. Besides shocking the world, the situation has many questioning how Trump's campaign will play out a month before election day, questions of succession should he be unable to govern, and how this bodes for Biden.
