Xinjiang's Kashgar Prefecture rules out possibility of further spread of the epidemic

The Kashgar Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has basically ruled out the possibility of further spread of the current COVID-19 epidemic, said local health authorities on Wednesday.

As for now, the Kashgar Prefecture has recorded 22 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 161 asymptomatic cases.
