Trump's campaign files suit in Georgia to pause count: AP
Incumbent President Donald Trump's campaign has filed a suit in Georgia seeking to pause the vote count, AP reported on Wednesday.
Georgia, with 16 electoral votes, is one of the five states whose Electoral College votes haven't been called. The others are Alaska (three electoral votes), North Carolina (15 electoral votes), Nevada (six electoral votes) and Pennsylvania (20 electoral votes).
According to AP, Trump is leading the race in the state, with 98 percent votes counted.
As the counting work is still ongoing, Trump's campaign has mounted a multi-pronged legal attack in several battleground states in the wake of the tight election.
The campaign said it has filed lawsuits in Michigan and Pennsylvania seeking to halt vote counting, arguing that officials had failed to allow fair access to counting sites.
Before Wisconsin was called in favor of Biden by a slight edge, the Trump campaign said it will request a recount in the Midwestern state.
