A travel bubble between China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and Singapore will begin on November 22, Singapore's airlines regulator announced on Wednesday, as the two cities move to re-establish overseas travel links and lift the hurdle of quarantine for visitors.

Initially, the travel bubble will start with one flight a day into each city with a quota of 200 travelers. And the two cities will each take two flights a day from the other starting on December 7, according to Singapore's Ministry of Transport (MOT).

HKSAR and Singapore signed the scheme last month that may exempt residents of both places from quarantining or stay-at-home notices amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
