Malaysia is set to host the 2020 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation informal leadership meeting, with APEC CEO Dialogues. Chinese President Xi Jinping keynoted the Dialogues via video link on Thursday, calling the Asia-Pacific a shared home and expressing his hopes for the Asia-Pacific business community. At the APEC meeting this year, member economies aim to work together on inclusive and sustainable growth. Despite the pandemic's devastating effects, Pacific Rim countries such as Chile seek to keep APEC's significance as one of the key multilateral blocs in the world. Chilean President Sebatian Pinera discusses inclusive growth in a time of the pandemic.
