Located within the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, Hoh Xil – one of China's largest no-man zones, is known for its rich biodiversity. It's hailed as the "Kingdom of wild animals." To better protect the ecology here, especially the Tibetan antelopes, a protection station was set up in 1997, the year that a national nature reserve was established there. The station is named after Sonam Dargye, who sacrificed his life in 1996 to guard this sacred land. Follow CGTN's Yang Jinghao to this protection station for more details.
