The Kouprey is a little-known species of wild cattle native to Southeast Asia. It has always been rare and is one of the world's most endangered large mammals because of uncontrolled hunting and human disturbance. Sadly, the species hasn't been seen for several decades, many people suspect the animal is extinct. The kouprey has been listed as Critically Endangered (possibly extinct) on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List.
