"China welcomes the participation of Luxembourg in the RMB internationalization process and believes that Luxembourg will continue to provide a fair business environment for Chinese enterprises," Wang told Luxembourg Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn in a phone call.
"We hope that Luxembourg can continue to play an active role in promoting the development of China-EU relations, especially the early ratification of China-EU investment agreement," said Wang.

EU companies will get improved opportunities from the deal, especially in the rapidly expanding and highly lucrative Chinese industries in the sectors of manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and cloud computing.
Wang also briefed Asselborn on China's stance on human rights and Hong Kong and Xinjiang issues, stressing that China's eradication of absolute poverty on schedule is the greatest human rights achievement.
Some Western forces are smearing China on Xinjiang issues, Wang said, adding that facts will eventually bust all rumors.
Speaking of the improvement of Hong Kong's electoral system, Wang said the purpose is to make "One Country, Two Systems", "Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong" as well as a high degree of autonomy develop steadily.
Wang said he believes that Luxembourg and other European countries can uphold an objective and impartial position, work with China to uphold mutual respect, consolidate the foundation of mutual trust and maintain the momentum of the healthy development of China-Europe relations.
Asselborn, for his part, said Luxembourg is willing to deepen cooperation with China in areas including aviation, freight transport, telecommunication and finance, and play an active role in promoting the early ratification of the EU-China investment agreement and the development of EU-China relations.
