Guizhou Province, located in southwestern China, is famous for its magnificent natural landscape of karst landform. Karst forms from the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone, and the karst cave is a typical karst landform that could be seen underground.
In karst caves, stalactites can be seen appearing in peculiar shapes, either hanging on the ceilings or "growing" from the ground. Here are the stalactites in the Dongbei Cave of Libo County in Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province.
