In the heartland of east China's Anhui Province, Jingde County leans on the notable Yellow Mountain. Based on the idea of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," the county is one of the National Ecological Counties.

The mountainous landscape has created many picturesque terraced fields in the county. These paddy rice fields and villages mingle with the hills and valleys, together with the clouds and mist, which earn the place the name of "Terrace on the Cloud."
