Splendid lightshows staged around China to mark CPC's centenary

Splendid lightshows continued to be staged in cities around China on June 27 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Night skies in the Chinese cities of Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Hefei, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, among others, were brightened up with dazzling lights.

In Zhoushan, east China's Zhejiang Province, a bridge illuminated in red and golden lights created breathtaking night views. /CFP
