A little tern is seen capturing a fish in a wetland in Weihai City, east China's Shandong Province. Photographer Lin Ge took the photos. The little tern feeds on fish, shrimp and aquatic insects. They are quite common to see in China during the summertime. The bird dives into the water fast and flies fast. When flying, its mouth is straight down, and the head is constantly swinging from side to side.
