China voiced its strong dissatisfaction with Japan over its interference into the question of China's Taiwan region on Wednesday.

The Defense of Japan white paper released on Tuesday has a series of wrong wordings regarding the Taiwan question, which is another example of Japan acting irresponsibly, said Zhu Fenglian, spokeswoman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, on Wednesday.

Japan referred to the stability around Taiwan for the first time in its annual white paper, claiming that is "important for Japan's security and the international community's."

The Chinese mainland spokesperson said the Japanese move sends a very wrong signal to the secessionist force of "Taiwan independence" and exerts a very negative impact on peace and stability of the Taiwan Straits.

Zhu stressed, Japan has, for some time, continuously made erroneous words and deeds and insisted on heading into the wrong direction over the Taiwan question, which gravely breaches the spirit of the four political documents between China and Japan and severely violates the One-China principle.

"We demand Japan attach real importance to China's solemn position, reflect deeply on history, immediately correct its mistakes and eliminate the bad influence with concrete measures," she said.

The Chinese mainland spokeswoman also criticized the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities and secessionists of "Taiwan independence," warning that their colluding with external forces and rejecting reunification and seeking "independence" with the use of force will lead nowhere.
