Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and South Korea from September 10 to 15, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday.

During his visit, Wang will conduct in-depth strategic communication with all parties, deepen Belt and Road cooperation and advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a regular media briefing in Beijing.

The four countries are close to China geographically and Wang's trip speaks to China's sincerity and the importance it has attached to enhancing friendly relations and deepening mutually-beneficial cooperation with them, the spokesman added.

"China is ready to work with these four countries to make new achievements in bilateral relations and jointly safeguard multilateralism and international justice and fairness so as to inject more positive energy to the promotion of peace and stability, and prosperity and development in the region and the world at large," said the spokesman.

In Vietnam, Wang Yi will also co-chair the 13th Meeting of the China-Vietnam Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, said the spokesman.
