Heads of state and government are due to present national statements at the World Leaders' Summit at the 26th United Nations Conference of Parties on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
The conference, the first after the five-year review cycle under the 2015 Paris Agreement, was initially set to take place last year but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Global leaders are expected to review overall progress and plan future actions in Glasgow. COP26 runs from November 1 to 12.
