A series of all-factor tests were carried out at the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Village last weekend, with 2,415 participants involved in testing check-in, accommodation, catering and COVID-19 (PCR) tests. /CFP

Located south of the National Olympic Sports Center, the village consists of 20 buildings spread over a construction area of about 330,000 square meters. It can accommodate 2,338 participants for the Olympics and 1,040 for the Paralympics. /CFP

The village has convenient areas for canteen service, shopping and workouts. These will give "villagers" time to enjoy the amenities before and after the competitions. /CFP

The village will start trial operations for the Olympics on January 23, 2022, before official opening on January 27. /CFP
